Compound 5 (20.0g, 81 mol) in DMF (100 mL) solution of ethyl iodide (22.8g, 146mmol) and diazabicycloundecene (18.4mL, 122mmol) it was stirred overnight at room temperature. The reaction mixture was poured into 10% aqueous ammonium chloride solution, and extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was washed with saturated brine, dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure, to give compound 6 (22.3g, 100% yield).
