Description
TWEEN 65 is an emulsifier manufactured by reacting stearic acid with sorbitol to yield a product which is then reacted with ethylene oxide. It is a nonionic surfaceactive agent which is dispersible in fat, oil, and water. It is also termed polysorbate 65. It is used in frozen desserts, cakes, and coffee whiteners.
