Effect of Nano-ATO on Performance of Double Layer Co-Extrusion PE-LD Agricultural Shed Film

Abstract :
Antimony doped tin oxide(nano-ATO)/linear low density polyethylene(PE-LD) dual-layer agricultural shed ?lm was prepared by double-layer co-extrusion blow molding,and the nano-ATO/PE-LD shed ?lm was UV aged. The compatibility of nano-ATO with different contents in the master batch of inner and outer layers of composite canopy ?lm was studied by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),and the in?uence of nano-ATO dosage on the droplet property,tensile property and light transmittance of composite canopy ?lm was discussed. The results show that PE-LD is compatible with antioxidant,UV absorber,oleic acid amide,droplet and nano-ATO treated with silane coupling agent. The addition of nano-ATO can improve the droplet prop erty of the inner layer of the canopy and the tensile strength of the canopy,but it can reduce the light transmittance of the canopy.
Nano-ATO has a re?ection or refraction effect on ultraviolet light,which can reduce the aging degree of the canopy ?lm. Therefore,the decline of tensile strength and light transmittance of the canopy ?lm after ultraviolet aging will be slowed down. According to the comprehensive judgment,when the addition amount of nano-ATO is 2%-3%,the composite shed ?lm has better aging resistance and other comprehensive properties.
