Applications

JK-1002 is an anionic carboxymethyl hydroxypropyl guar modified from guar gum. It is applied as a fracturing fluid in the recovery of oil and gas. JK-1002 is a self-hydrating polymer, so no external buffer system is required to help viscosity development. As a stimulation fluid, JK-1002 has good thermal stability and can be cross-linked with a number of transitional metal ions. With its excellent carrying capacity, the JK-1002 can support sand or other prop-pants. JK-1002 is alcohol tolerant while it is kind of sensitive to salts.
