背景（Background）
NPP家族包含七名成員，根據(jù)其底物可分為兩組。第一類包括核苷酸降解蛋白NPP1、3和4。NPP3（CD203c，ENPP3）在多個器官中表達，包括上皮和粘膜表面，尤其是嗜堿性粒細胞和肥大細胞。抗原結合的IgE激活嗜堿性粒細胞導致炎癥介質(zhì)的釋放和NPP3向細胞表面的快速上調(diào)。事實上，這種蛋白質(zhì)是通過流式細胞術診斷患者嗜堿性粒細胞過敏原敏感性的常見標志物。嗜堿性粒細胞和肥大細胞介導對某些病原體的反應，以及急性和慢性過敏反應。激活后，這些細胞釋放ATP，ATP以自分泌的方式進一步刺激它們。NPP3上調(diào)有助于降解ATP并抑制慢性過敏性炎癥（但不是急性反應）。
