REVIEW Metazachlor is a selective residual herbicide used to control broad leaved weeds and annual grasses. It is commonly used on its own and in combination with other plant protection products, such as clomazone and quinmerac. The compound is absorbed through the roots of the target weeds to the growing points of the plant.
