Fire Fighting Measures | Back to Contents | 【Flash Point】
65 | 【Autoignition】
175 | 【Fire Fighting】
Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent), and full protective gear. During a fire, irritating and highly toxic gases may be generated by thermal decomposition or combustion. Will burn if involved in a fire. Use water spray to keep fire-exposed containers cool. Combustible Liquid. Containers may explode when heated. Extinguishing media: Use water spray to cool fire-exposed containers. Do NOT use halogenated agents. Do NOT get water inside containers. In case of fire, use carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder or appropriate foam. | 【Fire Potential】
Flammable/combustible material. May be ignited by friction, heat, sparks or flames. |
Accidental Release Measures | Back to Contents | 【Small spills/leaks】
Clean up spills immediately, using the appropriate protective equipment. Sweep up, then place into a suitable container for disposal. Avoid generating dusty conditions. Remove all sources of ignition. Provide ventilation. Do not get water inside containers. |
Stability and Reactivity | Back to Contents | 【Stability】
Stable under normal temperatures and pressures. Moisture sensitive. | 【Incompatibilities】
Strong oxidizing agents, acids, heavy metal salts. | 【Decomposition】
