AF 698 is a phthalate derivative of Apovincamine (HY-135743) that can be used as a peripheral vasodilator with selective vasomotor effects on cerebral microvascular circulation. AF 698 has better vasodilator effect than Vincamine (HY-B1021), but there is no significant difference in the protective effect of the two drugs against hypobaric hypoxia-induced lethality in mice[1]. | [References]
